I've always wanted to own a business. I was just never able to decide what it should be. That was until I found the perfect business looking me right square in the eyes! I often volunteer with Homeward Pet a local no-kill animal shelter. One particular day in February 2010 I happened to be at Best Buddy giving a shelter dog a bath when the owner mentioned that he wanted to sell the business. Well, there it was and here I am. For me this is much more than a business, it's my passion. I'm a member of the Rainier Agility Team and have been competing in dog agility for more than 10 years. My love Sophie, pictured here with me, is a Delta Society certified therapy dog and we have been visiting patients at Overlake Hospital over the last 3 years. Speaking of community, I've lived in the Snoqualmie Valley with my husband and daughter for quite a while (15 years as I write this). I believe strongly in small town values, the strength of community and in supporting each other. On our "Bark Board" bulletin board in the store and on this website we'll be posting information about key local pet related organizations and service providers.
